GIS at the Metropolitan Council

The GIS department at the Metropolitan Council supports the Council's planning, transit and environmental services activities through the use of Geographic Information System technology. In addition, the department works very closely with MetroGIS to facilitate the sharing of geospatial data among government agencies within the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area.
